The Miss World 2024 Japan Contest, which determines the Japanese representative for the world's largest beauty pageant, Miss World 2024, was held in Tokyo, Japan on October 2nd 2024. From thousands of applicants, 32 finalists who made it through regional competitions appeared on stage, each showing off their unique talent and expressing their best selves. Yoko Mizuno, CEO of liu Co., Ltd. participated as a judge and presenter.
About Miss World
The first Miss World competition was held in London, England in 1951, and will be held for the 74th time in 2024. They are known to host the world's largest number of participating countries (131 countries in total) and for their "Beauty with a Purpose” slogan. During the Japan national competition, 32 finalists selected from thousands of applications appeared on stage, each showing off their unique talent and expressing their best selves. We, liu Co., Ltd., support the concept of "Beauty With A Purpose" advocated by Miss World, and have been supporting the competition as a sponsor since 2022.
